About us
Founded in 1952, the Santa Cruz Old Timers Auxiliary (SCOTA) is the women's branch of the Santa Cruz Old Timers, a nonprofit established by 11 local men in 1939 to promote fellowship among its members and to support and keep alive interest in Santa Cruz history and its pioneers.
Today SCOTA is a nonprofit organization that operates independently from the men's branch. We meet once or twice each year to celebrate Santa Cruz history and culture, raise money for underfunded and neglected local charities, meet and network with old and new friends, and honor SCOTA's Santa Cruz Woman of the Year.

What is a Santa Cruz Old Timer?
20+ year residents of Santa Cruz County may be members of the Old Timers. Whether you were born and raised in Santa Cruz County or have simply lived here for 20 or more years, you may become a member. There are no dues or obligations other than to have fun and enjoy our annual events.

Our Mission
To promote fellowship among the members of the association and support and keep alive interest in Santa Cruz history and its pioneers.
